I have never had such an amazing property that takes so much care in not only providing a home like environment but also in providing a serene, special isolated haven through the various trails that are well kept and we’ll marked. Big kudos to Essential Tas.

The location of this very comfortable and stylish property is unique on a peninsula of your own. We really enjoyed our evening after walking chilling in our hot tub and watching the wildlife. We really look forward to returning.

The most beautiful house in the most beautiful location! Privacy is key here- there are no other people for miles, it’s so peaceful and quiet! Every single detail is thought of – there were things in that gourmet kitchen I didn’t even know what they were! The pantry was generously stocked, there was even a picnic basket and bushwalking pack ready to go complete with first aid kit, maps and binoculars! The welcome gift included Tasmanian wine, freshly baked sourdough, chocolates and jams. The fireplace was ready to go and abundant with firewood.. The hot tub on the deck under the stars is worth the money to stay here alone – what a magical experience!! The bed was comfortable with electric blankets and fresh clean linen. Smart tv complete with Netflix and a well stocked cupboard full of books and board games. Private walking trails around the property and wallabies, birds, all sorts of wildlife! The host Rachel was amazing, communication and check in was so easy and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend the Cape House to experience southern Tasmania in all its glory ❤️

We spent five nights here – it is an amazing house and so comfortable. The views are gorgeous and the estate is quite large with lots of beautiful walks. The kitchen is well equiped and has a nice coffee machine so you can make a latte in the morning. There is a laundry with washer and dryer. Living room is huge – lots of space and Netflix available on the TV. We had the property let as one bedroom – the master bedroom is very comfortable – great bed. The location is great for exploring south Tasmania – Hartz national part, Tahune , Hastings Caves, Geeveston. Had a lovely lunch at Home Hill in Huonville

Cape House is a truely special property, amazing views over Dover and across to South Bruny and the Channel. Very comfortable house, warm when the weather sets in but can be opened up when the sun comes out and you’re able to make full use of the expansive decks outside. Will certainly be back!

Serenity. So relaxing and remote. Went for a girls weekend away to escape everyday life and relax. Exactly what this place offers. The animal night life is amazing and the bush walks are awesome. Highly recommend this place if you need the time out.
